 Dr. Ted Schipper is a graduate of the University of Toronto; dentistry in 1971 and his orthodontic specialty in 1974. In addition to private practice, “Dr. Ted” teaches in the graduate orthodontic department at the University of Toronto and he is an elected member of the Council of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the licensing body for dentistry in this province. Outside the office Dr. Ted likes to ski, jog, golf and ride his bike. |

 Jill is the newest member of our team. She is our Treatment Co-ordinator and one of the people you will be speaking with on most occasions. Jill was raised in Collingwood and enjoys an active life outside the office; including running, skiing, baseball and volleyball. During down time she enjoys reading. Jill is married and has two young boys, Frasier and Oliver.

 Kathy is our business assistant. She is your first contact with our practice and takes care of all the “business” – telephone, appointments, correspondence, accounts, etc. Kathy is almost a “local”, having lived in Collingwood since 1979 with her husband and three sons, Jeffrey, Dan and Curtis. Depending on the season, Kathy likes to golf, garden or ski.

 Wendy is one of our orthodontic hygienists. Originally from Burlington, she has worked in different orthodontic practices for over 20 years. She is currently in our office two days per week and spends a third day working in Barrie. She has three children, Summer, Landon and Tai-Lee. Wendy likes to ski and jog.

 Kim is one of our orthodontic hygienists. She works with patients two to three days per week. She lives in Wasaga Beach with her husband and family of five boys. Outside of family responsibilities Kim enjoys reading, hiking, water skiing and travelling.

 Terri is one of our orthodontic hygienists. She has worked for over 20 years in the same two orthodontic practices in Toronto, as well as in the Orthodontic and Cleft Palate Clinic at the Hospital for Sick Children. She helps out occasionally on Fridays. Terri snowboards, rides horses, gardens and takes care of her short-haired collies, Mattie and Ruby.

 Lisa is our orthodontic assistant. She is a Level II assistant and can take impressions (molds) of your teeth as well as x-rays. She takes care of all the non-patient clinic responsibilities – sterilization, instrument preparation, assisting Dr. Schipper and/or the hygienists, ordering supplies, etc. Lisa lives in Wasaga Beach with her husband and children Holly and Ric. Lisa likes the beach, shopping and weekend getaways with her family.
